♐︎ Sagittarius horoscope 2027
Sagittarius’s ruler Jupiter starts 2027 in Leo, your 9th house of travel, study and beliefs, and moves into Virgo, your 10th house of career, in late July. Saturn spends the year in Aries, your 5th house of romance and creativity. The solar eclipses fall on your axis of communication and learning, so ideas and words are a strong theme.
Jupiter in 2027: your 9th and 10th houses
Jupiter, the planet astrologers link with growth and opportunity, is in Leo, your 9th house (until Jul 26), then Virgo, your 10th house (from Jul 26). It changes sign on July 26, 2027. It turns direct on Apr 13 in Leo.
Jupiter in your 9th house is traditionally at home, since the 9th house is the natural house of Sagittarius. Astrologers link this placement with travel, higher learning, publishing, teaching and a wider outlook. Leo is a fellow fire sign, so the first seven months can feel open and inspired. From late July Jupiter moves into Virgo, your 10th house, and growth turns toward career and public standing. Virgo squares Sagittarius, so this may mean more responsibility along with the recognition. It suits putting what you learned earlier in the year to work.
Saturn in 2027: your 5th house
Saturn, the planet of structure and lasting effort, is in Aries, your 5th house (all year). It turns retrograde on Aug 9 and direct on Dec 24.
Saturn in your 5th house brings commitment to romance, creativity and fun. Astrologers associate it with serious love, creative work that needs discipline, and responsibilities toward children in your life. Fun may feel more earned than spontaneous. Fire supports fire, so Saturn here can help you turn a hobby into a skill or a romance into something lasting.
Eclipses in 2027
The solar eclipse in Aquarius falls in your 3rd house of communication and short trips, a fresh start for writing, learning or ties with siblings and neighbors. The summer solar eclipse in Leo lands in your 9th house, where Jupiter has just been, which can confirm a new chapter in study, travel or beliefs. Lunar eclipses in Virgo and Capricorn touch your 10th and 2nd houses, career and money.
Love in 2027
Saturn in your 5th house makes love more serious. Casual connections may lose appeal, while a committed relationship can deepen. Travel or study may bring someone new in the first half, with Jupiter in your 9th house. Venus moves forward all year and visits Sagittarius twice, in January and again in November.
Venus is in Sagittarius, your 1st house, from Jan 7 to Feb 3 and Nov 1 to Nov 25. By tradition, the best months for love are the ones Venus spends in your 1st, 5th or 7th house: January, April, May, June, November. Venus is not retrograde at any point in 2027; its next retrograde starts on May 10, 2028 in Gemini, your 7th house.
Work and money in 2027
The second half is the stronger one for career, with Jupiter in your 10th house from late July. Mars retrograde early in the year moves from Virgo back into Leo, your 10th and 9th houses, so a work plan or a trip may stall before it restarts in spring. The February lunar eclipse in Virgo also falls in your 10th house, a point where work matters can come to a head.
Career matters tend to come forward when the Sun or Mars moves through your 10th house: January, February, May, June, July, September. Mars is retrograde from January 10, 2027 in Virgo, your 10th house, to April 1, 2027 in Leo, your 9th house. Astrologers usually suggest finishing old projects then, more than starting fights or big new pushes.
Mercury retrograde 2027
Mercury turns retrograde 3 times in 2027. Each one falls in a different part of your chart, so the advice to double-check plans and messages applies most to the houses listed here. The shadow is the stretch before and after when Mercury covers the same degrees. Full calendar: Mercury retrograde 2027.

How to make the most of 2027
Travel, study or teach in the first half while Jupiter is in your 9th house. Bring that experience into your career in the second half. Take one creative project or relationship seriously, since Saturn rewards commitment. Keep plans flexible around the early-year Mars retrograde.
How this horoscope is made
Every date on this page is calculated, not copied: the positions of the planets come from the same engine as our birth chart calculator, checked against the Swiss Ephemeris, and the eclipses are worked out with the method in Jean Meeus’s Astronomical Algorithms and checked against NASA’s eclipse catalog. Sagittarius is treated as the 1st house, the next sign as the 2nd, and so on: the solar chart method astrologers use for Sun-sign forecasts. Read it as tradition and a prompt for reflection, not as a prediction. Many astrologers suggest reading the page for your rising sign as well; find it with the rising sign calculator.
